We Held a Meeting with Mr Zafer Sırakaya, Deputy Chair of Foreign Affairs of AK Party
We attended the “Diaspora 2.0” London Gathering, organised by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), bringing together members of the Turkish diaspora in the United Kingdom who have demonstrated success in strategic fields such as finance, technology, academia and the arts.

The “Diaspora 2.0” London Gathering, organised by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) to bring together the Turkish diaspora in the United Kingdom who have demonstrated success in strategic sectors such as finance, technology, academia and the arts, took place on Sunday, 17 May at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel City Suite Hall.
Hosted by YTB President Mr Abdulhadi Turus, the programme was attended by Mr N. Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ilim Yayma Foundation, Mr Zafer Sırakaya, Deputy Chair of AK Party and Istanbul MP, and former national football player Mesut Özil.
The gathering brought together professionals, academics and entrepreneurs who are shaping the future of the countries in which they live while also contributing significant added value to Türkiye. Discussions focused on strengthening the diaspora vision, increasing international collaborations and encouraging younger generations to take a more active role on a global scale.
Networking discussions took place among participants, alongside evaluations aimed at further strengthening the ties between Türkiye and its diaspora communities.
The highly attended programme concluded with commemorative photographs and conversations among participants.
